At the home of Mrs. Maddox - 46 Krikwood Ave 
is reported that 10 or 12 women are engaged 
in making an effigy of Gov. Deaton which is to 
be hanged tonight and then set on fire and dragged 
at rear of auto through the city at a meeting 
last night in Inman Park near Presty Church.  Very 
Inflammatory remarks were made against the Jewish people 
and if burning effigy is brought through Decatur Street, it
may in all probability lead to rioting.
