6:30 AM.  I went to Decatur Street and 
leisured around the saloons until 9:30 AM 
but the regular bunch of crooks were not in 
evidance as usual, and the cause being the 
appearance of some many Detectives in 
the Vicinity.  As was shown some ties, by Mr. Clifford 
in Bonds store, about 9AM and find 
that they were exactly like the ties sold yesterday on the 
streets.  I went to town with Mr. King of 486 
Decatur street or was there until closed out.  We met 
Chub Fleming at Pat Lyons double header joint.  
[...] Fleming stated that rounders who had the 
stolen goods had done win the goods, but we 
were interrupted by others coming up and I was 
unable to rope Fleming further at the present time.  
I met A.K. Wilson also on Decatur Street and in 
speaking of the police men, Wilson claimed several 
had refused to arrest him because he was a 
striker and in speaking of Jim Palmer Wilson stated 
Palmer was favorable to the strikers and so was Whitley.  
That the Policemen knew the Fulton Bag officials 
or the management donated a large amount of 
money for the defense of Leo Frank, and therefore 
would assist the [...] 886 before they would the 
Fulton Bag.  Wilson claimed to of had conversations 
to that effect with policemen on various occasions.  
We strolled out Marietta Street supposed to be 
picketing, but I was endeavering to locate the boy w
ho sold the ties on Sunday and on my return 
to Peachtree Street, I met Paul Strachan and ex 
file clerk and proof reader for the Pinkerton agency.  
Strachan was discharged in March of 1914 and to 
secure our [...] for a conversation, I takaned him 
to the Luna Pool Parlor upstairs on South Forsyth.  
Strachan solicited my assistance in selling some 
information about the Pinkerton agencys works to 
a Kansas city newspaper who he had been figuring 
with and also with Gompers of the Fed. Of Labor S
trachen is sore with Oinks and as I know 
also wants to explore Samuel L. Bradyu Vice 
President of the Ga Fed and once President 
because Brady is a Pinkerton man i[...] to 
the Am. Frderation.  Strachan has his information in 
detiail for it and it is practically correct.  Where 
he will hit the agency is that, Brady directs 
the GA Federation filed organizers on one side 
and the Pinks furnish detailers for the 
corporations on the other side.  This gives them work 
and aggetates the strikes more when other 
work getes slack and Brady reports daily to the 
Pinkertons, which reports were read by Starchan.  
We conversed for about 4 hours and I roped out of 
Starchan several ways the agency has in 
prompting Labor trouble and then soliciting 
work from the plant affected by the trouble.  
Strachan desired to have me market the 
matter and he furnish the information in 
affidavit forms and he also touched on the 
Frank case g[...]ing Of course I takined 
the matter under advisement and promised to 
meet him later in the week to take up the matter 
more freely.  This information prompted the sending 
the special letter to you and I called several 
times over phone for you or Mr. O but was unable 
to get you each time Mr. Snyder I understood 
answered the phone.  Of course Strachan is 
blind to my present work and I would like to 
have you pass on the information, as I can 
have the same suppressed if you think best 
or I can get it through.  As there is lots more 
information not mentioned here in I would like 
to go over the situation with you before I see 
Stratchan again.  I returned to Carrol Street 
at 6 PM where the pickets were, and striked 
around with them and it was the general opinion 
of the crooks I met, Charlie Wilson and others that 
the Breaking open of Vanees store last night which 
is next to or near Bonds store was did by the 
same bunch as a decoy as nothing was takened 
that it would tend to support the [...] 
that she corrects burgulors had not been 
arrest.  I did not visit the camp today but 
was on look out for the crooks, but the [...] 
pressured by the officers had seen dodging 
and hiding at 5 PM I discontinued.
